The Inaugural First Post

Welcome to a look at what we learn at Veritas.  The three of us are thrilled to have the opportunity to develop, refine, express, and in a synergistic manner push ourselves to see what is possible.  We hope this blog evolves alongside us and can become an expression of who we are, what we do, and why we are doing it.

As we are expressing ourselves, please keep in mind that we are all very different human beings.  We spend often in excess of 12 hours a day in close proximity of one another, so it is not unusual for us to poke fun at ourselves and each other, develop temporary/permanent grudges, release negative energy, attempt to sing in a range greater than our capabilities, laugh maniacally for no apparent reason, chide Keith unnecessarily, patronize Nicole, throw liquid nitrogen on each other (Note : we would never do this, and neither should you), write sentences that are grammatically speaking too long,  and not take anything seriously for hours.  Just as a hot pot of lightly pasteurized and carrageenan stabilized cream left unattended boils over, so too may our personalities spill over into this blog... or not...

So we begin our journey into the world of internet logging, being as verbose as possible, making our first post months after this blog was started.  We are enjoying the ride, and hope you will too, and maybe we will all learn a thing or two along the way.

Respectfully,
Silas Caeton (Gilligan), Avishar Barua (Danny), and Josh Dalton (Cornell)

  1. As a lover of good, creative food, I am a huge fan of your restaurant... and as a lover of good, creative writing, I'm excited to see your blog! Only the first entry and I've already laughed out loud! Silas is my little brother... I pretty much taught him all he knows about cooking and writing... ok, maybe not .. but anyhow, keep up the good work, guys!!
